During the past nine years I work
ed in the financial services industry and I absolutely dreaded my career and the corporate structure. Every night I would feel that I could do more for clients, provide more information, and give them unbiased advice. I wanted to be more than a salesman and more of an expert. Finally, this year (April 2011) I decided to break away from the financial services industry and create something that would help people financially. This is the evolution of the Financial Money Spot!
In addition to nine years in the financial services industry, I have an undergraduate degree in finance from Kent State University, an MBA from Ashland University, and literally thousands of hours of research studying financial planning. I feel that I am qualified to provide you with solid information that will allow you to develop and reach your financial goals. Hopefully, you will find this site informational, productive, and different from the other do-it-yourself sites out there.
Although I am a finance geek, I also have a life. I am married, have three children (one in heaven), believe in God, obsessed with motivation/self help topics, love college football, and try to exercise when time permits (currently on the P90X kick).
